The Erie Insurance Marketplace is also along State Street, between South Park Row and Eighth Street. That's where you'll find vendors selling jewelry, hand-crafted glass and lots of other items; displays by artists and small businesses; and more.
The festival will also feature a number of artists crafting their works live, on the street at various locations and an artist gallery, curated by City Gallery, displaying works/talents of artists from throughout the Erie region.

Well, there you go. A guide to the world of horology. While we got pretty comprehensive in this article, we only scratched the surface on wristwatches. If this topic interests you, I highly recommend checking out sites dedicated to all things wristwatches. A few of my favorites include Worn and Wound, Hodinkee, and A Blog to Watch. Gear Patrol also does some bang-up write-ups on watches.
The Art of War has been applied to many fields outside of the military. Much of the text is about how to outsmart one's opponent without actually having to engage in physical battle. As such, it has found application as a training guide for many competitive endeavors that do not involve actual combat.
The Art of War and Sun Tzu have been referenced and quoted in many movies and television shows, including In the 1987 movie Wall Street, Gordon Gekko (Michael Douglas) frequently references it [39] The 20th James Bond film, Die Another Day (2002) also references The Art of War as the spiritual guide shared by Colonel Moon and his father.[40] and in The Sopranos. In season 3, episode 8 ("He Is Risen"), Dr. Melfi suggests to Tony Soprano that he read the book.[41] and the Star Trek: The Next Generation first-season episode "The Last Outpost", William Riker quotes The Art of War to Captain Picard, who expressed pleasure that Sun Tzu was still taught at Starfleet Academy. Later in the episode, a survivor from a long-dead nonhuman empire noted common aspects between his own people's wisdom and The Art of War with regard to knowing when and when not to fight.[citation needed]

Overall, in my not-so-humble opinion, this festival is EPCOT's best. Entertainment abounds with live performances, art being created on-site and so much more. It's not just the Disney artists showcasing their art ... you can exercise the right side of your brain too!
What's wonderful about the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is that the art spans beyond Disney. You can watch artists create both 2D and 3D chalk art inspired by famous paintings in addition to beloved Disney characters. (You can find the Chalk Art Galleries on the bridge to Showcase Plaza.) There are more than 100 Disney and visiting artists displaying their work, so it's easy to find something for every frog family! And keep an out for drawings of Disney characters hidden throughout World Showcase (our favorite one is inspired by "Luca" near the fountain in Italy)!
Throughout the day, various performances occur at the World Showcase Plaza (at the entrance to World Showcase near Disney Traders). A favorite of ours is the "Visual Art in Performance" show, which features Trevor Carlton, a visiting visual artist painting Disney characters within minutes on stage. He always hypes up the audience as he paints along to high-energy music. This year, we watched him create a Donald portrait right before our eyes! Showtimes are typically at 12:15 p.m. and 3:45 p.m., but the performances do not hoppen every day of the festival.
Usually, the first day/weekend of the festival is fairly busy. If you're looking for low crowds, we'd recommend most weekdays, except for MLK Jr. Day and Presidents Day. Also, if there's an artist that you're hoping to see, you may want to wait until the artists' schedules are released. For instance, one of our festival favorites is Trevor Carlton, who does live art performances but is only available on select days (last year, it was mainly Thursday through Sunday). 2ff7e9595c
